The longer we are here in Torino, the less patience I have with living out of a suitcase.
Don't get me wrong, some hotels are great...
they come and clean, workout facilities are awesome and more...
BUT it's time for a place of our own!
As my husband puts it,
"I just want a place I can have a bowl of cereal at 2am."
SOO...we have found a place to live here in Torino!
When you're in Italy, you have two choices for housing:
living in the country in a lovely villa...charming workers
happily renovating your bargain...olive trees growing...
Sounds cool and romantic....BUT your other choice is living in the city, in modern Italian style. Nearby neighborhood ristorante or stores or parks.
Like this:
We have found being near all those things, near people
who might speak English to be a bit more practical for us.
So we went and looked inside what they call 25 Green.... er....Verde...
It's brand new, we pick the furniture, kitchen and bathroom accessories.
Here are some interior shots.
One bathroom, with terrace out the window and our choice of shower or bath...
Second half bath, with laundry room beyond. Yay! Second full bath with shower.
Kitchen above, ready to be decked out with cabinets and appliances. One of the bedrooms.
Both off of the enormous terrace.
Which, by the way is made out of frosted glass!
The immense green courtyard...
This is the lobby with pools of water and immense iron tree trunks
Hoping to move in this weekend. Time to get furniture and everything!
Ciao for now!
